The Lifeboat Hour, With Carolyn Baker

What is the saying parents often repeat:  ‘I love my kids all the same’.  But I cannot help but say how much I not only enjoyed the interview with Carolyn Baker, who is a well known writer, scholar, healer, teacher.  Just to give a selection, recently, her ‘Collapsing Consciously: Transformative Truths for Turbulent Times‘:

“A collection of probing essays and weekly meditations, this book addresses how to prepare emotionally and spiritually for the impending collapse of industrial civilization. Author Carolyn Baker offers wisdom, inspiration, and a sense of spiritual purpose for anyone who is concerned about the daunting future humankind has created. The author’s introduction to Collapsing Consciously articulates our current predicament of economic collapse, environmental degradation, and global conflict and expresses the confusion, anxiety, grief, anger, and despair we all experience when we take a hard look at the present-day global crisis and the likely future of the planet.”

This episode of ‘The Lifeboat Hour, from July 3rd‘, perhaps shares more of me as I really am, than an other work to date–engagements, interviews, or presentations (click link above, not below, which is an image only).

About jenniferhynes99

As a highly trained engineer in technology with an emphasis on large data migration and a deep and abiding interested in spirituality [Buddhism], and having traveled the world, Jennifer brings her broad understanding to rapid climate change and sustainability and spirit. She is deeply concerned and cares deeply for our planet. While not a formally trained climatologist, her Arctic Methane Monster video went gone viral in the last year. As a senior person with plenty of responsibility at a Fortune 100 Corporation, she vowed not to seek to promote her video and yet surely it happened.
